H2Gro plans to service the US$171b fertiliser industry, which is seeing a huge price spike due to increasing demand. The company plans to use its connections with hydrogen producers to create a green, cost-effective solution.
The company is looking to sell ammonia-based fertiliser so farmers can maximise crop growth. This brings both economic and environmental benefits, as farmers will no longer need to use harmful chemicals that are highly expensive to buy.
H2Gro has already begun discussions with potential customers in the Kimberly region. Overall, the ammonia market is projected to grow from US$71b in 2021 to US$110b in 2028 due to rising fertiliser consumption and increased agricultural production.
